Sweet Syringa Hall
Sweet Syringa Hall
Sweet first served as a way station for freighters into the Buffalo Hump Mining District. It was named for the first postmaster, Ezekiel Sweet, who came from Ohio in 1877. The Sweet Syringa Hall is one of the two remaining structures with historical significance from the 1909-1910-era. It continues to be used as a community center for Sweet and Montour.
